Fall Riding in Full Swing!

There is nothing better than fall riding. Cool temperatures, tacky dirt, no bugs, with some slick roots and leaves just to keep you on your toes. Who could ask for more? All of us here are taking full advantage of the great riding conditions ...are you? extreme photography: Phil Ott

Interbike Again, Roulette and Steve Peat Beard Envy

Here are a couple more from Vegas. Brian learning the roulette table and Steve Peat asking "How long did it take you guys to grow those?"

Is the Gary Fisher Roscoe the Perfect Marquette Bike???

At 27.5 lbs and 140mm of travel, the Gary Fisher Roscoe could quite possibly be the perfect bike for our mountain bike mecca of Marquette, Michigan. The all new Gary Fisher technologies make Roscoe incredibly pedal friendly, easy to move around and climb, but makes it no slouch on descents and technical terrain. Roots, rocks and everything mountain biking disappear under this machine allowing you to ride faster and for longer ...maybe even instilling some extra confidence to push your abilities a bit farther. Stop in the shop or visit www.fisherbikes.com for more info. Here is Brian testing and James contemplating the Roscoe's shredding abilites.

Interbike 2008

Well, we made the trip out to Las Vegas for the annual Interbike tradeshow. It was about 100 degrees with about 0% humidity which made the dirt demo a bit hard on the 'ol lungs. Good times though. Saw a lot, Lance Armstrong announced his return to professional cycling, he even raced cyclocross. We saw world cup champions, world champions, olympic medalists, professional cyclists of every type, an arena mountaincross race, pro crit finals, Sam Hill's new ride and a gazillion bikes and parts, 2009 will be an exciting year. Definitely a necessary trip to make sure we are on the cutting edge with whats going on these days. Glad to be back home though ... humidity sure is nice.

MM Bike Park Season Ender

Thank you to everyone who made the 2008 Marquette Mountain Bike Park a success. The ski area management, all the volunteer trail builders, ski area employees, park sponsors, and especially all the riders that came out to ride made this great thing possible. This closes out the 2008 season, but stay tuned, things will prove to be even bigger and better for 2009. Thanks to all and check back for updates.

WORS #3

95+% of the QSBS crew made the trek to Wausau for round #3 of the WORS series. Gary Fisher Paragons were out in force, definitely the XC race bike of choice. Andrew Hanson and Erik Carlson had good results and the rest brought back big fish stories and one liners that will keep us all chuckling for months to come.
